5. Changes in Member’s Interests

Members’ interests in an LLC may change from time to time. A member may transfer all or part of his or her interest to another member or third person by sale or gift. A member may also pledge the interest as security for a loan or other obligation. An existing member of an LLC may withdraw and have the LLC purchase his or her interest, or one or more new members may be added. Forms are available in this category for use in all of these situations.
